Alpha Channel is masking technique or simply selecting one part of a picture and can modify this part with some filters or colors

hahaha, now this what its called alpha channel,
Click on channel menu, and create new channel, which is alpha
I get this one from copying the green channel, cuz it just suit me
to make a selection, simply brush the part that you don't want it
to make sure that you choose the right part, in this example i want the girl, so i make a selection from color range of my green channel copy
yes you got it, and now start playing around with parts you have,...
i made desaturated on one part,..
lastly my favorite, channel mixer, to give the different mood to the picture
